Yeah, for me it came off looking like such a gimmicky event. It had its moments, but the marketing hype was ridiculous. My theory is that Chipotle has no real major competitors to take their business away. Fast, custom-built burritos and salads are a powerful draw, especially (irrationally speaking) when you are also half-expecting the lines to be shorter.
