They should have gone balls out and touched on real-world current issues in the NFL, like kneeling, dog fights, wife-beating accusations, career-ending injuries, suicidal depression of clutch kickers who lose last minute games, helping out the community, starting businesses post-football, making comments to the media,

Story mode in a football videogame.

Admittedly, in my case when the series launched I was initially thinking “I’m interested, but not that interested. I’ll check it out maybe mid-season.” Time zips by me, and then the Winter Soldier movie comes out and takes out SHIELD. My reaction wasn’t “Whoah, I wonder what happens to the TV show”, but rather

Chris Pratt as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern. Zoe Saldana as Carol Ferris/Star Sapphire. Dave Bautista as Kilowog. I can do this all day.

Plus, I think that if Gunn did go to DC, he should take Bautista and everyone else with him.”

Any DC property that ends with “Written and directed by James Gunn” would work, but especially the cosmic, futuristic titles you just mentioned. Those are potentially huge visual fx, ensemble-style groups that Gunn has clearly already proven out with GotG.

If we are in the reality I think we’re in, this will happen and it will be the best fucking thing ever in the history of superhero cinema.

Gunn was eating, breathing, and shitting the Troma way. Offending and gross-out humor has always been their culture and M.O. That’s what they do.

I think folks are just annoyed at how dismissive TLJ treated the mystery parents thing after TFA kept bringing it up like it was supposed to lead to something more. Same thing with Luke tossing the lightsaber away.

The other logical side of me wants to tell me that LoL should continue to exist so that all of the devoted deplorables are always corraled and accounted for and not contaminating other games.

Also, to anyone out there who might not fully understand the role of HR departments and will read a lot of the damage-control buzzword responses from Riot in this article and in the ripple effects you’ll see carry across into other media outlets, know this:

“unaired”

Yeah, I kind of assume divorce in tv shows didn’t come into play until maybe the mid-70s early 80s, when people realized it was becoming almost a social norm. But then again, there was that show Divorce Court, which according to Wikipedia, has been around since the late 50's, so I dunno.

There are some dark unseen undertones foreshadowing the story on how Mike and Carol must have first met.

A former female colleague of mine from a previous gaming company works there. She’s doing okay (her role is way up there on the product management tree), so I don’t think she has had it as bad as some of the legit bad experiences in this report. But the thing is, she’s always had a savvy approach at calling out

I read somewhere that Fluffy was allegedly placed in the witness protection program.

Mike Brady was all about efficiency. The entire family shared one unseen toilet room off to the side in that hallway. He also allowed the children to use the bath shower when the lines got really bad after Alice’s special spicy burritos she served on Thursday nights.

Odd that amid this massive house, with all of its subsections and large master bedroom, Mike Brady would design it with only two bedrooms/three kids per room. And then make them share one bathroom. The boys room was so small, two of them had to bunkbed it. I mean, it helped with conveniently creating scenes but

I agree that it would’ve blown up, and maybe the outcome the same, but I think the thought here was that mayyybeee they could have waited at least a few more days just to see how it would escalate, to make it look like they gave it extra careful consideration.
