You know who the real superheroes are? The teacher. The factory worker. The single mom working two jobs to feed her kids.

It’s due to the aftereffects of his rehab/recovery from shattering his jaw from slipping and hitting a kitchen counter (same thing happened to a friend of mine, and came pretty close to death). Efron says the enlarged jaw isn’t from cosmetic surgery but from the growth of facial muscles compensating for the damaged

Finn Wolfhard?!?  CGI?!?  Sign me up!!!

I miss the days when I could complain that the Grammys know nothing and the best album of the year was by Sparklehorse or Olivia Tremor Control. Now I know nothing about either popular or hipster music.

I didn’t agree with the reasoning behind their saying it’s a bad cover. I think part of the point of covers is reinterpretation which in some cases does mean finding the more fundamental/honest/earnest thing out of a song regardless of or in spite of the original intent. If Pearl Jam or Vedder’s voice is just not your

She’s a good, convincing actress but hardly irreplaceable. I don’t remember seeing a movie where I found myself thinking, “Gwyneth would have knocked this out of the park” which I suppose you could read as “Gwyneth just isn’t that remarkable” or as a sign that there aren’t a ton of roles for 50-year-old women.  I do

If you watch his interviews, he definitely comes off as cocky. He may have been different among family and close friends, but this portrayal in OUATIA was really consistent with how he appeared on those interviews and demonstrations.

This thread is so corny.

These stories about Minhaj had already been circulating, which is what prompter Malone to chase the story down. Just because comedians have artistic license to bend the truth doesn’t mean anything

I can’t figure out what her appeal is.”

She could at least have been a docent at the Louvre!

Hey, I changed my professional name to Derek Streep DeNiro Day-Lewis and I can tell you think nepo baby crap doesn’t always work!

Chandler Binge is correct, although I thought that was quite obvious for nontrolls.

How I’m reading this is that the movie’s turned out to be a respectful and sensitive telling of this piece of Osage history. It sounds like it’s imperfect, which really is a given with an Italian American director (albeit an amazing one) rather than an Osage director at the helm. The Osage quoted seem to have some

Did you all see Silence?  NO ONE saw that movie, and it was pretty freaking sublime.  That’s some good stuff, Marty.

The song can be a straight up country song lyrically, so this cover makes sense. Not the “all I need is a Bud, my jeans, my pickup, and my girl” type, but the “life’s tough right now and I have the blues” kind. I don’t like Combs’s cover, but the song seems perfect for his audience.
