"How to boil water faster?"

There is, of course, the option of putting Google Now as one of the shortcuts in this, and then you can get it through a swipe-and-click instead of just a swipe. I don't like that option though.

True, but that is still only from the home screen, not from anywhere. I don't like going to my home screen for things anymore. I've gotten used to having everything from gestures, and the home screen might as well not even exist for me.

There is another big hindrance that is not mentioned here. It takes over the Google Now gesture, which means you can't quickly access Google Now and Slide Launcher. I think I will be sticking with SwipePad for now.

That wasn't the point of this article, though. It didn't say "don't buy that MacBook". Rather, it said "get the rest of your shopping out of the way before buying that MacBook".

Okay, so here is a problem I have with this advice:

I'm pretty sure that this is actually a photo of a Chipotle on Halloween.

Whitson, my girlfriend was eavesdropping while I was listening to this, and she pointed out that you can disable the automatic downloads of things for an account. This way, multiple people can buy stuff on one account, and then selectively sync only the things they want to be able to have. It is here:

Whitson, you absolutely can type in a contact's name into Google Maps on Android and see their address. It might be the 3rd or 4th down the list if it is a popular name (and matches map locations), but it has been there for a little while now. As long as the address is in the contact, it will show up.

Ubuntu versioning doesn't work that way. They release two builds of each version, .04 and .10. They are released in April and October, respectively, hence the numbers.

Well there we go; it's official that I did pay too much.

One was an Amazon Warehouse deal ($115), and the second was the Dell refurb deal from a few days back ($105 total). The refurb deal should still be live on Dell's site.

I have two of these bad boys, which I got for a total of $220. I'd say that's a pretty good deal, plus IPS.

Yeah, I had to stop using PayPal for that reason. Interestingly enough, Amazon has never expressed any such concerns for me, and I can ship to any address I feel like (including a completely different person).

The whole billing vs. shipping address is crazy. You are right, I have seen this happen, but why then is it provided as an option? Plus, virtually every college student has a different shipping and billing address.

My girlfriend has always told me to use peanut butter. It works like a charm.

My girlfriend is now in change of my wardrobe choices. I rather like this outsourcing of parts of my life.

I think this idea comes from back in the day (I know, so far back), when you had to find some sort of root exploit and use that to bypass the bootloader. Only then could you flash custom ROMs. I think that is no longer so much the case, but I have gone all Nexus, so I am really not sure.

Whitson, how come you and Adam introduce yourselves, but you never let Thorin say his own name? That seems mean.

Feedly doesn't have a mobile site. When you load it, it only asks to install the app, and does not show you feeds. It is the most annoying thing ever.
