That also, but my point still stands.
That also, but my point still stands.
Even so, it is not for everyone. I prefer using Windows and Android, so there is absolutely no way for me to use Facetime. And even if I do decide to buy an Apple product, there is still absolutely no way to talk to all of my friends who do not own one. Market share says the majority of people have the same problem…
It is resealable, but it is not easily refillable.
Compiling is actually super easy to do. It's a couple of lines in Terminal. http://www.howtogeek.com/105413/how-to-…
Do you know if unchecking Show Notifications would result in the app being killed more easily for those apps that have a "keep running" notification? I've been disabling those notifications (most apps let you, but warn that it could get killed), but if hiding the notification works better, I might start doing that.
It all depends on what you actually did. Of course you think it's great, because everyone thinks their own design is great. However, it is also possible that you went overboard with your "design elements" to the point where the design overpowered the content. Resumes are about content, and always have been. If the…
The battery life is not really affected by this. It runs in a chroot, so you are still only running one operating system. This is not the same as a regular virtual machine on Windows, etc... However, running more intense programs will of course affect battery life, but that is the case on any laptop.
Yup, Chrome updates just fine. However, when Ubuntu updates, you have to run a Crouton update manually. Also, Crtl+D gets you past the dev mode splashscreen faster when booting.
Why would you download Sparrow or Mailbox when there is a Gmail app? It's just another interface that may provide a better experience, using Feedly as a sync agent. If you don't want that, there is no need to use it.
I think of this along the same line as stores that work without commission. I usually get a lot better service when a store does not have commission, as the employees answer me reasonably, rather than being pushy because they need my money. I'd like to think that tips would work the same way. Taking away the stress of…
HBO owns the content, so they are the only ones who can authorize password use. In your example, you cannot sue me for identity fraud, but HBO can still sue me for illegally accessing their computers (video servers).
The Act is actually referring to violating the computers of HBO, not violating the computers of whoever owns the password. HBO only authorized one person, the account holder, to view their private content. Anyone else using that person's password is then violating HBO's computers, according to the Act. (I am not…
It is illegal, according to the linked article. The Computer Fraud and Abuse Act says that it is a misdemeanor to “to obtain without authorization information from a protected computer” with up to one year in prison, if the violation results in $5,000 in damages (provided HBO can prove it cost them $5,000 to let you…
Also, when stores like Walmart or Target mirror one video feed on 17 TVs, the video gets super distorted and artifacted, so you cannot see the quality of the image anyway. A blurry or pixelated store TV doesn't necessarily mean it will be bad when you get it home. The same goes for color quality.
It's the only part of this that I was actually interested in. It took a while to hunt it down. Here is the link: http://cl.ly/image/2c2e2a1w…
You know, I actually have no idea. She told me it was too embarrassing to say back then, and has forgotten what it was about by now.
That's how I met my girlfriend. She was crying, and I guess I was so good at comforting her that she decided she wants to stick around me all the time.
I don't think they talked about this, but does this mean that every single app must now change their icon? I see some problems with that. I sense more and more ugliness in iOS coming up.
chrome://about/ lists all of the internal pages available, no extension necessary.
I have a tip for the oAuth thing. The standard flow for doing such an authentication is for an app to open a web view, which is essentially part of the browser of that device. So let's say you want to authenticate with Twitter. If an app opens up a web view asking you to log in, you can close that app, go to the…
