Alan, can you please point out that the rootless options requires activation from a computer. It's kind of important, and users tend to miss that part a lot.

Hit up Koush on his Google+ or email the dev email from the Play Store. He'll get back to you.

Adb backup was added to the 4.0 API. There's nothing a dev can actually do about that. There are plenty of root options for below 4.0.

Last month, I used 4.5GB, and usually I use just a tad less than that. This includes the entirety of my phone use, as I never use my phone on Wifi. I have the Verizon Galaxy Nexus, still with unlimited data.

I think you mean "right aligned" home screen. Justified has no sides; it's when the spacing between the words and letters is adjusted so that the text goes up to the margin on both sides.

The funny part is that cash should essentially cost the most, since it requires that an armored truck with at least two employees comes to the store every day, or twice a day for some large stores.

Although I know this tip works — I've tired it and it's great — I am broke, I don't like coffee, and my laptop can only last an hour without being plugged in on a good day. Can we get a practical tip that works for the rest of us?

I'd love for all of these to work over 4G. I'm hopeful for version 2 of AirDroid, but right now, it is still pretty clumsy and constantly disconnects.

Guys... "dihydrogen monoxide" is H2O... as in water. Yes, it is introduced when you rinse your mouth (with water), and it does kill a lot of people... but seriously? How do you guys not catch that?

The idea is nice, but the implementation and design are fairly terrible. I miss Awesome Drop.

Unlikely? It is actually expected. Google never deletes anything. Anything. Ever. They maybe would disable that as a feature eventually, but the files will almost definitely exist on their servers until the end of digital data.

Quick tip for Android:

As a web dev, my opinion is no, there is never a good reason to use IE.

I don't have much. I am frankly not sure what the point of this exercise is.

Ooh, fancy wallpaper. What is it?

That's covered in that last paragraph of the article. It fits every one of those exception rules (except education), and you only need one to be exempt.

Well, laws aren't perfect. Also, I think the returns diminish quite a bit when you have to transport large amounts of scrap metal.

Yes. As it turns out, the metal used to make pennies is (at least at times) more expensive than one cent. This law is there to prevent people trading in pennies as scrap metal for more money. It is currency, so it is technically always owned by the government, and not the person whose pocket it is in.

In theory, yes that is how it works — since video is just a bunch of stills displayed in quick succession, with fast memory, the camera should be able to do video at the full resolution of the sensor. However, DSLRs (consumer grade anyway) have set settings, and a faster card will not get you a better video than the

Yup. I have not tested this particular one (yet), but I have not yet found any extension that I cannot use on my Chromebook (even NaCl extensions).
