Despite abundant expectations that it would be bad, Nintendo’s new Metroid spin-off turns out to be very good.

Let me just get this straight... you’re putting down 270 dollars for this game... sight unseen or reviewed, but you’re not sure the DLC will be worth it? I mean... how can you be sure the game is worth it? If you have this much faith in SE, what’s an extra 30 bucks?
If you bought this you are part of the problem
...my first ‘first comment’ on your articles (or anyone’s for that matter) and it’s still pending....
Anyhow, I send my kindest regards to Kotaku and extended Gawker writers. Really hoping Univision takes care of Kotaku and does not shut it down. This site is God.
Was about to say the same thing. I haven’t had always some pleasant conversations here. But generally I’ve enjoyed visiting Kotaku. I don’t really visit other Gwaker sites. I really like the articles you guys do here.
No problem and thank you so much!
I guess Douglas would know!
Hopefully in the Fall, honestly it’s when they are ready.
PS. Josh and I are die hard PSO fans.
If Gawker shuts down, is Kotaku shutting down too?????
Please don’t shut down!!!!!
Congratulations. You were the only person so far to reply to this article like an adult instead of some reactionary babyman fighting some Reddit vs Tumblr war in their heads. I’d like to give you a reward but I think you not being them is probably reward enough.
I wished to co-sign that too, but I felt I’d be making a disservice to David Hayter.
People can just paint the tip of their real gun orange.
Let me guess, you’re going to delay this too...
Yes!
The Witcher 3 is the first game in a long time where I didn’t feel that way.
It’s a rare time I find a voice cast in a video game I like. TBH for stuff like RPGs or text heavy games I just feel it slows the game down a lot and I’d rather just read. I read way faster and I never have bad anime girl voices in my head. Unless I want to try to practice listening to Japanese I usually turn voices…
Who has the time when you’re so busy ruining them?
Agreed. Especially since the quality of VA in games really doesn’t match the level of visuals and music. It’s jarring, and much of the time I wish everybody would just shut up.
Nintendo hear you and are planning to build a time machine to fix the absolutely godawful voice-acting in the Zelda franchise
Yes! Just finished I am Setsuna, and playing some older JRPGS. I miss the silent dialog not ruined by cliche anime voices.
