Hoping this happens for Destiny at some point. “The Best Place to Play”for me is Xbox One and I’d rather not have to spend several hundred hours on the PS4 version just to play with my friends/clanmates on the PS4.

No, actually you could search for their unique Nintendo Network ID (equivalant to the Xbox Gamertag/PSN Name). You could search for anybody you wanted with said ID and send a friend request much like PSN and XBL.

I think it’s a shame that, in many ways, the online integration of the Switch is worse than the Wii U. Things as simple as adding friends based on unique usernames and Miiverse were huge steps (for Nintendo anyway) in the right direction. Now we have less than that (with the exception of some NES games) , a horrible…

I actually made a relatively new PSN account recently (after seeing an OG PSO character class available as a PSN name). I’m playing a lot of my old favorite games on there. Played Modern Warfare Remastered for the first time since COD4 was popular. Game is still really fun!

This is very true. It sucks that you can’t transfer the one you can get via the means you’re talking about into the modern games from the 3DS Red/Blue/Yellow releases.
