That’s what I thought spete. When put under any sort of legal or critical scrutiny this whole “Baylor loves rape” story falls apart pretty quick and its proponents are reduced to name calling. Mike Nifong, Sabrina Erdley and Rolling Stone say “wazzup.”

She had the strength to report it to Baylor, to report it to Baylor P.D., to write a now viral blog post about it, and to attend a public vigil at which she spoke to hundreds of people gathered there (including media who quoted her, see today’s WacoTrib). Why didn’t she have the strength to report it to the one place

You clearly don’t crap about the Waco/Baylor relationship. Waco is a largely blue collar town and its demographics are a majority minority. Baylor is predominantly white, upper middle class suburbanites from DFW/Houston. The two have always had a tenuous relationship at best, hence the moniker, “The Baylor Bubble.”
