wow this is interesting!!

Thanks for sharing this. I had wondered whether the "fake ID" thing was verified. I mean, it doesn't matter in the sense that holy fuck this is not how we should or usually do treat underage students with fakes, but if it really was a false alarm, all the worse.

Wow.

Well, that's a whole 'nother level of awful.

He "was injured"? Uh, no, he "was assaulted".

What we REALLY need to talk about is Ru's going off at the girls at the end of the episode. It was 100% justified and 1000% terrifying.

This was Max's week, all the way through, and I thought it was cute when she dropped her accent and consoled Jaidynn when she freaked out during the acting challenge.

Manegeress? Good Lord. She had no problem taking the feministic approach with her name.

That's an MRA troll. Woman blogger writing about the abuse of women, he's going to find anything he can to pick apart.

Hahaha spot on analysis, I KNEW there was some reason I found this show oddly appealing!

where you can just happen to run into Ethan Hawke (again)

From the first video: "He is wounded, somehow."

OH MY GOD. I cannot blame Melanie for all the drugs, now. Not with growing up in a household that's all "Lions are great pets!....oh, honey, is your face okay?"

Great, now I feel bad for making fun of Melanie Griffith's plastic surgery.

Jon Hamm really was built for this role. I've been loving him on a more recent show (I don't want to give away the surprise!) but it's similar to his part of 30 Rock, it revolves chiefly around the joke of how handsome he is, in part due to Mad Men. Although dude is also handsome and charismatic. It's somewhat amazing

Oh, man. I was the technical editor (I cut the raw footage right out of telecining and matched shot lists to slates/scenes/takes, as well as encoding the Studio/Director/Broadcast cuts) on MM from S1Ep10 to the end of Season 3. I got this gig right as Ep01 premiered and I dug it, but didn't see it as a landmark,

Alison: Take a look at Pete's real wife and tell me again how couples looked "alike then".

Sometimes he'd say something like, "Get me the mixing bowls with the clear bottom." And I'd go, "Nuh-uh … not until 1972."

With that much of a gap, I say that they had two tiny seasons to end it, and you can't make me believe that there was a "mid-season hiatus." It's been a year; it was a different season.

The only thing that matters tbh
