Obviously not every single disabled person has problems with Family Guy, but there is a sizable part of the community that thinks Seth MacFarlane is ableist, and makes particularly cruel jokes towards them. Again, I’m not judging either way, and I’m not disabled, I just know that that is A THING.

This presupposes that Superbad is, in fact, a good high school movie.  I think that’s open for debate.

What “lasting impact” has Superbad had? McLovin references?? Is that the bar?

Superbad is just that.  Super bad.

Man, what an insult to Cohen

I really hated American Hustle.

Well, Amsterdam’s advertising campaign certainly hasn’t done it any favors. All of the commercials I see are basically lightning fast cuts as they flash a zillion actors’ names across the screen. You walk away with no idea what the film is about. The trailer isn’t much better. I actually heard the trailer before I saw

Not sure if anyone noticed but there was kind of a weird moment between Mikey Day and Chloe Fineman in that History Channel sketch. When he went to point out something on the map he had to kind of reach past Chloe to do it, like she hadn’t moved out of the way enough, and he did kind of a passive-aggressive gesture on

Yeah, I didn’t get it. Like hey, Hillary, you fucked up big time, and you lost the election. Go away.

I mean, Rob Schneider sucks, but he’s not wrong in this instance. That was a really embarrassing/cringey moment for a comedy show.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is too.

Little shop of horrors, bowfinger and death at a funeral are all pretty subversive.

“We used to work in a video store together, we wrote movies together, and while I merely tried to kill a woman in a car-- Roger actually did it!”

My favourite sketch as well. The look on Dave’s face every time that song plays cracks me up every time.

the radio dj in the bunker is one of the funniest things i’ve ever seen

Another fucking bad take from Hughes, add it to the mountain pile.

For me, too. I love Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm but I really hate listening to creatives talk about their lives and/or their art, especially obscenely wealthy creatives.

You know how people said that Donald Trump was a poor person’s idea of a rich person? Adam McKay’s movies are a stupid person’s idea of smart movies.
