Glee-vengers Assemble
Psst, it's ok. You're probably thinking of 'Sixth Form College' which is for 16-18 year olds.
*cough* remember the title of the movie? *cough*

Yes, the only things that have stuck with me from that film are a couple of his devastating line readings.
I thought that was odd too. I was expecting it to be more analogous to the 'Tim in Ruislip' moment from The Thick Of It, where it is obvious that Malcolm is losing it, but the person he is talking to is genuinely unnerved:
There was an interesting Film Crit Hulk article put out yesterday about different types of media consumption, in which he talks about popular internet film critics being overly concerned with logical plotholes etc. Made me think of these Honest Trailer people:

"I could envision the horrible, horrible female that was singing it"
Actual game talk: what are you supposed to do in the stage with the floating icons that make a big white circle if you stand under them? Is that the end of the game? I can't seem to make anything happen there other than glowy circles.
Linehan wrote a really interesting piece about the remake, viewing it as an opportunity to write a version of the show improved by the benefit of hindsight, and offering suggestions for successful translation:
I remember Linehan saying in the 'Big Train' commentaries that he felt really bad about not having given the actresses on that show enough to do (he had two of the UK's best comic actresses in Julia Davis and Amelia Bulmore, gave them nothing to do, and they both quit after one series). I think he said that made him…
This article has a good defence of laugh tracks in sitcoms:
Has everyone seen Ayoade playing Joseph (as in Jesus' dad) in 'AD/BC', the 70s Rock Opera parody he wrote with Matt Berry? It is one of my very favourite things:
'Miranda' is adorable. It's ridiculously old-fashioned (in a recent episode she went to a travel agent! A travel agent!) but in a nice, cosy way.
That's Liz May Brice, who has been in awesome things like Charlie Brooker's zombie apocalypse show 'Dead Set'. She's actually a year younger than David Mitchell.
I really liked seeing season 1 Chang again. Jeong and the writers did a great job resurrecting him.
The best character moment for Britta this episode was the fact that she decided to go to Greendale after Chang said: 'Greendale's a joke. They gave a monkey a degree'. Perfectly fits 'Advanced Criminal Law' era Britta.
Natasha Leggero from 'Burning Love'!
I enjoyed this a lot, but the mystery does get in the way of the more interesting stuff. I would rather the show had just been about these women and how they deal with their reduced roles, and the fact that they can't tell anyone how important they once were.
I found the direction in the cold open incredibly off-putting, in that it didn't seem to fit with the writing. Community and other single-camera shows use editing to make jokes land (e.g. cutting to a reaction shot, and more subtle things that I don't understand). The lack of cuts here made it feel like moments were…
