I feel like you show your cards with your last line there, you've made up your mind and that is that. As I agree, the show has had some seasons, or at least episodes, where it was terrible. Bill[sic] Odenkirk can never seem to write an episode I don't kind of hate, for instance.

Someone explain for me the hate you guys have for The Simpsons. It's not in peak form, but good lord, last night's was just fine. But every week I come here and it's another C or C- while the most middlebrow crap in the world ("Shameless") pulls a B. is this some kind of critical street cred?
