Yeah, no complaints with the engine block at all. I mean, I’m currently replacing the window actuators and I did the clutch, starter, the a/c unit and a few other bits and bobs in the last few years. All good points. I’ll add that in addition to those reasons I ordered my 2015 F-150 in 5.0 also because Ford pumps in fake engine sounds with the 3.5 Ecoboost. Lame.

I have a 2011 5.0 F-150. Ecoboost was an option but the simplicity and proven tech of a V-8 sold me.
