I trust Rob Liefeld’s knowledge of the inner workings of Marvel Studios about as much as I would trust Rob Liefeld to draw accurate and proportional feet.

I love that 90s movie. It came out in my teenage obsession with Val Kilmer, after he was Batman and when HBO was obsessively running Thunderheart and The Ghost and the Darkness.

It’s also because there is no Snyder cut (that’s just wishful thinking from delusional fans hopeful that the movie would be good under Synder’s original vision, forgetting that Zack Snyder is a hack and a shitty filmmaker and his previous two movies building up to this one were also shit).

Ironically her going back to Leopold’s time had the same issues: medicine, dentistry and don’t even get me started on her rights as a woman...  Nothing romantic about that bullshit.

I completely agree. I’m generally very understanding of adaptations and the liberties they need to take with the stories. Perfect page-to-screen adaptations are almost never a good idea. I just strongly disagree with the gross majority of the changes they’ve made in the show. I’m pretty disappointed.

That’s the thing I’m kind of hoping about with the show. Stick with the concept, but drop all the shit that just really goes off the rails.

I really can’t get over how bad the writing is in these movies. There are low budget pornos with better lines. Superman’s return in Justice League, and his return to the farm with Lois, has to be the worst scripted piece ever in a $300MM movie.
