And since autopilot came out in September 2014, there have been a grand total of 5 fatalities that may have been caused by autopilot. Of course, one could argue that with no autopilot there may be less fatalities if the cars were driven by humans in the exact same manner (i.e., in quantity and type of miles driven).…
