@KinOfCain: Type faster, dumbass, you missed being relevant.

@The Name's Ash78, Housewares: Most of the lists published aren't adjusted for sales numbers, so cars like the honda accord and civic end up high up on the list due to the combined factors of high rates of theft and high sales numbers.
God I hate focus groups and market research and everyone involved in bringing us the Buick Accord we get here instead of this.
@The Name's Ash78, Housewares: Seriously. You think they would at least give us a crippled version of the launch control like BMW does in the SMG models, but no.
@elwood: "Frankly, I'm skeptical, because if it was really feasible to use a more efficient cycle for automotive transport, then someone would have realized it already."
@c0de: Uh, duh. It makes your car go faster. Don't believe me? Put smaller wheels and tires on your car, get in and drive, look at the speedometer, it will be going faster than it was when you had bigger wheels on.
@79TA: Oooo. So close, but I'm afraid "korvetkeith" has already won this contest with his comment below. Thanks for playing though!
@korvetkeith: Thank you.
So, can I get a Vette fanboi to post on here about how much I save on shipping due to the fact that the LS motor is so much more compact than any other comparable crate motor?
But how is this possible? I thought lap times around the Nurburgring were the writ-in-stone, objective, final word on how fast a car can go. How is it ever possible that the same car could go around that track in two different times?
@jimmythefly: Ok, fair enough, but it still looks like the 12 passenger version.
@BЯдΖǐL-ЯЄРΘЯΤЄЯ is Gavião Bueno: Well, I was referring to the series (plural) with the name lemans, not that one particular race, but yes, you'd need to run on different days for a 24 hour race.
@Gearhead_42: A/B: Right, if you want to limit spending, cap spending, it's easier than trying to enforce a labyrinth of rules.
@MajorOutage: I've spent quite a bit of time riding in and driving 15 passenger ford vans, that looks like the 12 passenger version to me, the 15 passengers have a longer section behind the rear axle.
@Ray Wert: At least the hood scoop is functional... oh... right...
@Ash78: Well, the street models use double-wishbones in the rear, but they swap those out for struts on the rally cars to take advantage of the extra droop/travel possible on a mcpherson setup. In the end, of course, the proof is in the pudding. Didn't the Cobalt SS just win a comparo with it's torsion beam rear?
@Unevolved 8.04: @eurodriver: Regarding the caps: I agree. If you really want to cut spending, cap spending. Going through elaborate "spec" engines, limiting RPM, making engines last a whole season, capping engine prices. It's all just innefective ways of getting where you know you want to be.
@eurodriver: "Should be 19k RPM"
@peakay: Well, yeah since you don't really need pneumatic valves to hit 10k. I think they meant 20k. But whatever.
