And apart from the Diesel, that car has two more things you'll never see on a USDM Benz: A manual tranny (the old SLK doesn't count), and (partially) cloth seats.

@KinOfCain: Err, Tier II Bin 5 is the US standard, which this would need to meet, EU6 is the rough equivalent and won't go into effect until 2014 I think. So this car would need more a little more work.

@Sm0k3y: Most of the MFGs weren't going to develop clean diesels just for the US; The Euro Tier II bin 5 standards, which this vehicle meets, are close enough to the CARB standards that we should see more of them move stateside.
