I was going to say something about that too! Her Snapchats were one of the few things keeping me from wine-soaked despair last night.

Boy, he’s going to be effed when we get a year or so into this and he won’t be able to get by with insulting Hillary or Obama anymore. When it’s just him on stage and no one else around to blame.

fart every time you leave your desk.

Worth noting, too, that there was almost no one on the sidewalks for the motorcade from the White House. There were actually more police/military lining tge streets than there were onlookers.

Tiny crowds to fill his tiny hands

I’m sure he’ll say, “we had the biggest crowds ever!!” But deep down it kills him that the crowds are small, just like it kills him that he is perceived as an illegitimate president.

America’s mom and dad have vacated the White House, leaving us struggling with a weird, reverse empty-nest syndrome (in addition to, you know, a growing sense of existential dread).

You gotta see what Kellyane Conweigh is wearing today. It looks like something from an 80's talent show with a 4th of July theme. Or maybe she got a tailor to make her an American Girl outfit.

Melania’s outfit looks like it was made from a Slanket/Snuggie :(

OMG stop it I’m dying. I so appreciate fellow Jezzie humor. Today feels so bleak, so its needed.

The argument I’ve seen is “that’s because unlike Obama supporters, Trump supporters HAVE JOBS.”

Pretty sure that reporter wouldn’t have asked that question if she were a white male tennis star. It would be all ass-kissing and questions like, “How did you get out of that challenging point in the match to get the win?” Not, “Oh your performance kinda sucked (even though you won).” And Serena knows this. At this

But it wasn’t “events of the match she just played”, it was his interpretation of the events.... Which she obviously disagreed with considering she a) won the match and b) has a lot of respect for her opponent (and explained how that respect led to her making some of those errors). I could be wrong since I’m not her,

This has nothing to do with power or social/economic status. She wasn’t disrespectful at all...didn’t belittle the reporter, didn’t act like he was bad at his job, nothing. She was offended by and disagreed with the question he asked for an apology.

Telling someone to apologize is bullying? Are you literally from Sesame Street?

Sounds like bullying to me.

“As. . . a fervent supporter of organizations like PETA. . . .”

OT but related: Does anybody else remember getting their first paycheck, taking a look at it and asking “Who the fuck is FICA and why do I have to pay them?”

I’m beginning to think that some of Trump’s nominees might not be good people.
