THEY ARE CALLED PYGMY MARMOSETS! Nothing pisses me off more when the pet trade gets its claws on somethingn and then doesn’t even call it by the right goddamn name.
I’m not even American and I’m going to really miss how awesomely smarmy Obama can be in the best possible way while still sounding polite.
I knew that the top leader in my company was a woman, so I checked it out. Of 15 top execs, we have 6 women and 2 POC! Woop woop! I’m kinda proud of us!
Brains. Splattered.
So. Much. Respect. For gymnasts! I love how both strong and flexible they are. My parents took me out of gymnastics after one season when I was a kid. Still bitter.
I OWN THAT ON DVD!

Where I’m from mothers tend to take a full year off after pregnancy, or share the full year with their SO, so at most they’re likely to be pumping. I wouldn’t mind if someone did bring their infant to work, though. I was in Rotary for a while and our president one year was a mother who gave birth 2 weeks before she…

Australia is like a weird Mish-Mash of Canada and the US with a dash of talking kind of Englandy.
I missed seeing Creed when it was in the theatres, hopefully it makes it on to Netflix soon. I’m also not a big fan of bloodsport, but it did look good.
I decided a few years ago that I would actively attempt to avoid watching movies that center around human suffering. I went to see Passion of the Christ, and couldn’t even look directly at the movie screen and that’s when I decided that enough is enough. I WILL watch movies about bad things that happen and I WILL…
I watch this series a LOT and Lucas is the best of all the kids, he’s hilarious and smart and says some supremely inspired things for a 7 year old. His reactions are also almost always really animated too, which I adore.
I meant “new to the western culture”, but you are definitely correct.
Why don’t people seek out advice? No, actually, how do they AVOID GETTING advice on this stuff? The world is teeming with people wanting to cram their advice down your throat, especially about babies!
You are welcome to feel that way, but it is a successful practice for lots of people.
