I was just thinking, "he's finally getting the HIMYM ending he always wanted…"

It's pretty common for YA novels to be conceived as a series/trilogy.

As you say, honey pot is a more general term. It includes your definition. But it is also used as a synonym for a honey trap. Gorp Guy quite literally "dated someone because [he was] attracted to the surface appeal, only to ultimately wind up stuck in a bad situation [where his date stole his company's IP]." There is

So just to be clear: in my humble opinion Holly Taylor is great. If someone wants to disagree I won't stop them, but they might want to take a moment to get her name right while engaging in the whining, lest they look like an idiot.

That's why when an episode focuses on Polly Taylor it's like she's not even there :P Judging by who upvoted this I'd say this was one of my worst attempts at sarcastic mockery of all time haha.

In the same way as he plays off "can you guys spend more time with me?" as "it would be better for the mission for you guys to be here more", I thought the "casual" mention of him being bullied at school as part of the plan for a mission was awfully telling.

I totally forgot that, wow. Ah, back in Paige's innocent days, when she interpreted pretty lady pictures as "love".

Yeah I'm not disagreeing it made an impact, but that's a far cry from "largely a thing of the past in America". Certainly when someone gets a cavity on TV I don't think most dentists watching are going "what a crazy happenstance!" haha. Hell, one of the great West Wing episodes revolved around CJ needing a root canal

The fact that you upvoted me and have this response to "Polly Taylor" tells me you're not ready to have this conversation.

As usual I disagree that the scene itself was "painfully boring", but it is definitely not really adding up to anything, which is immensely frustrating every single time a scene ends.

If you mean to deal with Phillip, they're never going to tell Elizabeth to do that, no matter how die hard loyal she seems. An order to make Paige do something extreme? Seems unlikely in the time we have left, but who knows.

Wait what? When did Paige find out about that? I don't actually have a sister but the last thing I'd want to happen is my sister finding my creepy stolen spank bank material. (I also don't have creepy stolen spank bank material, swear.)

I'm assuming that Elizabeth also lives by her work. I didn't catch that angle on it at the time but maybe. On the other hand that conversation occurred right as they were mutually agreeing to stop seeing other people for a little while, so maybe it wasn't meant to be read into quite like that :)

I think Phillip would've done well to repeat Gabriel's exact words, not just basically say "Gabriel's on my side about Paige" (which is probably how Elizabeth took it). Something more like "the last thing he said to me was 'Paige should never have been brought into any of this'. What the fuck is that about?" where

The Paige story is the only thing providing any continuous thread this season, and Holly Taylor and Keri Russell have been hitting it every time, I agree. It's not really enough to carry the season IMO but that's not the fault of the actresses or even that story itself.

Polly Taylor is a fucking terrible actress, that's for sure. When an episode focuses on her too much it's like she doesn't even register as existing at all.

"Honey trapping is an investigative practice utilizing romantic and/or sexual relationships for an interpersonal, political or monetary purpose to the detriment of one party involved in this romantic or sexual affair." synonym: honeypot

Renee's a spy! Sofia's a spy! Henry's a spy!

Your dedication is an inspiration to everything 80s!

Yeah that was an interesting wrinkle with Claudia, appearing all season without telling them. I don't doubt she could've made a trip home for a bit but I was expecting her to talk about keeping Gabriel company to try to grab a little good will by association.
