If they could just fix the "they had to we had to" line, I could live with it, but damn…

Man, something about your turban looking like hair + the yellow shoulders always makes my brain think "Harry Kim" even though y'all are pretty much opposites, character-quality-wise…
Honestly she pretty much is:
Real HTML tags, not that fake BBcode bullshit, son! :P
Yes, I admit I find it annoying when the same whining is posted over and over long after most of us have agreed it's quite baseless. It's a tragic personality flaw; I have meditated many hours over it. I too am glad we're done here.
I suppose. And now I am remembering Martha learning to shoot - but she asked Stan, not Clark, even though Clark was the one asking her to Get Dangerous.
Of course I haven't had that happen. That's EXACTLY why I'm open to someone acting in a way appropriate to their situation instead of presuming to judge exactly what influences would affect other people's actions, ya genius.
Well, the Emmy noms are out, and they managed to actually be reasonable this year, and they're alphabetical, so… :D
I see you made it in! I just hope you can keep up the blackmail for another 2 years :)
Upvoting the sarcasm :P
Well, I'd take a look at how many American actors on this show have gotten Emmy hype before you accuse them of nationalism :)
Good god will you guys ever give this absurd complaint a rest? When was the last time you were a teenage girl who just had the bomb dropped that your parents were spies for your country's mortal enemies? Have some perspective.
Well, Americans finally nominated, but not Dylan Baker :( He even got snubbed on Hollywood Reporter's list of snubs!
Paige was into Matthew way back in season 1, so I don't see any reason to think that's somehow just disappeared. But I love how screwy the whole situation is haha.
Paige was attracted to Matthew in season 1 even when he wasn't interested. I don't think that would've changed. But it is a wonderfully interesting spin on the teenage crush to have those feelings muddled up with the newfound confidence of having an important secret and stress of the associated responsibilities :)
On the other hand, unlike Martha she probably will be taught to defend herself, to some degree.
I'm going to have to rewatch season 2 at this point. My brain tells me I really did not like that season, because the idea of spy-ifying the next generation seemed patently absurd, especially when that generation had grown up 100% American. But after seeing how excellent the Paige story has been, I could revisit it…
Yeah, maybe after 2 years it was unfair for me to expect anyone to remember haha. The full monologue is:
"We're on the side of the demons, chief. We're evil men in the gardens of Paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. Surprised you didn't know that."
Exactly my point. Exactly why Takei is upset about this implication.
I think the difference is all the comics characters have been reinvented about a hundred times over the decades, whereas folks are rightly more protective of the integrity of originally-live-acted characters in a franchise that ran 40 years before finally being rebooted.
