Geez, y'all just can't let me goddamn enjoy something, can you :P

Talking to a bunch of volunteer nobodies is not a big deal, I doubt there'd be any press there or anything. Taking charge and talking to Important People looks way more presidential. However I do wonder when the other shoe's gonna drop on Tom Jane, there's no way that little tail between the legs act is just the end

Yeah labeling him "sometimes incomprehensible" was seriously missing the point I thought. Well, the 80s thing is a "Sue is timeless" joke, which I'm absolutely fine with - he did know her name correctly, right? But he tipped his hand pretty clearly at the end there - FIRST telling Selina all about her strategy dilemma

A couple of the posts feel a little too normal to really hit Richard's tone, but my god this is amazing overall.

Ah, damn, I was wondering about that. They don't even allow comments on the post he followed up on to talk about the "response"? Boooo…we must discuss Bombadillllllll

It's a complisult. She invented them, I watched a show that coined the term.

I'm sure they were aware of the keycard business being a cliche, which is exactly why they subverted it with the sister loudly showing up and blowing it up. And then the late night texts ALSO subverted with Ben's reaction, which made the entire thing worth it :)

I completely failed to make a connection between the Asian kid and Mike's baby. Is his wife Asian? I forget…

More than a little! It story felt pretty "I've seen this exact comedy plot before" - and I have no objections at all, it's hilarious :)

Did people not read the review or something? I mean I guess it doesn't matter who "gets credit" for the link or whatever but it's disconcerting…

The "Ben twist" made it all worth it. I was just starting to feel sad for Amy, and then they pull that. Love it.

@avclub-7e72b5fe1ad8fd5b388a5260ba7c07fe:disqus I just marathon'd Ed for the first time. Thought the Slattery storyline was pretty terrible but it was a good time for him to show up again, you can't deny the guy's silver-haired foxiness…

I totally squanch what you're squanching.

This seems like the kind of thing where it's hilarious one time, but given how little they were actually able to talk by the end, it would start getting repetitive.

Best line of the show: "This is a a Marvel (in general) critique, [which] is that no one stays dead except Terrence Howard." Ohhhhhh!

Okay, apparently hair is binary "dark" or "light" in my brain, I retain no further details. And in addition to forgetting what Kate's hair looks like, I think I also forgot what Kate's Kate looks like. And also most of season 2. IGNORE ME rargh memory*grumble grumble*

But wouldn't they let Oleg or Arkady know?

Which is exactly why it feels like this giant void in the mythology at this point…constantly mentioned, never witnessed :) I must see KGB-trained travel agents at work before this series is over!

And it's your crowd that complains about perpetual outrage?

I did catch that, yeah. But they decided not to make it a "thing" for the series I guess - more like just an Easter egg for us readers.
