Loved that element of surreality in what was mostly a hyper-real episode haha.

I can't say I really caught it in the episode (too busy laughing, perhaps), but this is badass, thank you for identifying. I really gotta expand my rap awareness…

I could not stop laughing at him asking for a ride, exactly the climax that storyline was looking for. This referee stint might even beat Odo's umpiring on Deep Space Nine

They definitely needed to land to sight landmarks on Kobol, but I never got the impression they were actually following anything on the ground AS they were hiking, at least not until they were right in the vicinity. Like, after Sharon spotted some mountain peak or whatever, why not pile back into the ship and go land

Hell, I'm not even sure this was Chucksplaining, let alone mansplaining, I was curious to hear the end of that!

People do talks about Christy! People seem to likes Christy!

I do not respect her footwear choices, but I do respect those legs in those jeans, damn.

She's not angry that he told the truth, she's angry he feels that way about her in the first place. It's cruel to be with someone you don't respect.

…I think that was his point.

She calls it "going to work", so I guess it's a job. Does she get paid for this job? I do not know.

I was like, "okay, League's over, I guess it's time for the actors to cling to the lifeboats of their more prolific counterparts", but ah they're married, I guess that makes even more sense.

@leonardbriscoe:disqus Speaking of the Sci-Fi miniseries, their version of Dune itself was only so-so, but the Children of Dune sequel they put on to cover the next two books was quite engrossing - and features a young and phenomenal James McAvoy.

If you're talking about Bent, I definitely recommend it. The show was marketed TERRIBLY. I thought it looked like shit myself. I finally watched it well after it was cancelled (actually it might have been cancelled well before it even aired), and I was so mad at NBC for deceiving me. Very charming.

Yeah I thought that was a strange take. There are basically two important events they were watching for Lee to take part in: The Walker shooting, and the Kennedy assassination. So…"the next big event" would be the end of the show, I guess?

Donnie has a TERRIBLE bedside manner.

I agree you are too used to action heroes :) I appreciated the realism that Jake is not some trained special forces agent, and waited until he really had no choice to take on the guy with the gun.

Why do people freak out about the same song existing in BSG as on real Earth, but not freak out about the constellation names?

It was fun to watch, but I don't get the physics of that scene. They were supposed to be decelerating heavily, right? Shouldn't that be giving them DOWNWARD g-forces? Why is the air pushing up at them? Was there a really intense atmospheric leak? With the reentry heat, wouldn't that cook them all?

You had this one waiting in the bookmarks for months, didn't you :)

GOSH you guys from two months ago don't talk about enough stuff. I'm gonna have to help you out.
