Aw, you can't blame him for not remembering that, we all know "Man of the House" only ran 6 episodes before the Barrister foreclosed on the House and they all committed suicide by hemlock.

"Let's get drunk." *and scene*

I'm pretty devastated to come back here after rewatching the ep, and discover her corn-filled grin was NOT the page image.

I just rewatched this episode, I did notice the Q-tips but at first I thought it was *chalk* because…there's like a number 71 scrawled on her computer screen? In white? But not like, a regular 71, just two line intersecting at a right angle in the orientation of a 7, and a slightly higher, vertical line right after.

But the word "could" suggests that some of the specifics of this scenario under disagreement COULD have been different, no? "Could" implies a potential space wherein a range of possibilities are conceivable, and The Baumer is proclaiming a position at the end of such a range. I'm just curious what that range is, if it

I just discovered apparently the phrase "like a champ" is lodged deep within my brainstem and causes uncontrollable laughter. I don't think I even finished consciously reading the sentence before I almost choked myself. Cuthbert's so great in this…

Well that's a hell of a pitch.

Wait, I knew he went back to New Girl, but I just watched that jury episode (my first New Girl in a couple years) and he was nowhere to be found. Sup?

I feel like that's almost the point. This isn't the beautiful Friends posing in/front of the fountain, this is some delightfully screwed up people enjoying being disasters in each others' company.

…At this point I don't think you're reading what you're replying to. You've again addressed the same issue I just said was emphatically NOT the question we're having about the episode.

Ah, thanks for elaborating. I kinda misstated my question, I was aware the subject of the song was applicable here, but I was wondering if there's some other factor that makes it especially perfect/unexpected. Kanye having a special connection to Anthony Anderson or something, I dunno.

It's still so weird seeing National Security Advisor Dr. Nancy McNally as a hippie dippie grandma, but she was GREAT tonight. The kid they cast as Young Rainbow is totally adorable.

There was one shot where they clearly went out of their way to pull a strand way out to the back, but for the most part it was pretty great.

I like "All Falls Down", but am I missing some special significance here? Just a great song?

I think @marklindamood:disqus was agreeing with you and mentioning that not only the gender role but her hippieness informed her and Bow's relationship with money, despite some people's perception of it being related to sexism.

I think you missed Dillgaf's point - his question wasn't "is this what black people REALLY do", it was "if Dre was trying to cut costs, why wouldn't he just re-wear a shirt he already had".

To be fair, it actually seemed kinda brilliant and correct that Zoey has secretly been a one-person focus group for every new American trend and product this entire time. If only he didn't let it go to his head when she cut him off…

It's a god damned tragedy we couldn't get Hugh Dancy and Anthony Anderson to switch roles for an episode.

Isn't the jury selection process much more about opposing lawyers looking for any signs a juror would lean their way on a case, not about high-minded speeches about who'd do the best job? Where was the opposing counsel? That was really distracting.

I did like the initial, completely misguided "thwock" of the hammer and the look on Winston's face, but everything after was just low quality farce. Agreed on Cece's lack of moral high ground as well.
