I understand that you have to meet people where they are if you want to actually change minds, but honestly I’m not sure someone who finds going to the Post Office so intimidating/frustrating that they won’t do it in order to cast a vote in elections that are extremely important can be reached.

My work filters block most of the ads, but I guess, from my perspective, the fact that it’s a part of the revenue plan of the site at all is something I’m glad I’m aware of.  It’s not annoying as much as it’s ... immersion breaking in a funny way.

Yeah the wording there is super vague.

Also, just wanted to point out that no, a “popular uprising” would not be preferable to an election.  That’s just silly.

And yet GMG, where Splinter’s editorial ethos is derived from, absolutely did.

What are you talking about?  It says Charlottesville! ;-) (good catch)

I mean, it’s not like we ended up seating a SCOTUS judge who lost his shit during his confirmation hearings or anything.

That ridiculous Ikea Kama Sutra commercial inserted into the middle of any article is going to make it impossible to take any article very seriously. That dude looks like he’s getting ready to boink his copy of the Kama Sutra and then it turns into an ad for Ikea furniture. I don’t think that actually is the

I mean, a 13 figure infrastructure bill would probably stave off a potential recession.

This still boggles my mind.

Both of them should be asking themselves where other Democratic politicians their age (or even younger) who were unsuccessful in upending the Clinton dynasty or who got sideswiped by Obama’s arrival are.

It’s worth noting the fact that this poll doesn’t require responders to choose a candidate. Only 78% of those polled selected either candidate in the Biden/Trump head to head and the response rate in the Trump-Sanders and Trump-O’Rourke head-to-heads was even lower.  Obviously if one of those two emerges from the

You don’t have to a native of a country to be a part of a movement.

Also, as we know from Stormy Daniels, it doesn’t take much in the way of stimulation to get Trump off.
