My brother was a nurse for a short time at Seattle Children’s hospital where Russ and Ciara have visited nearly every single Tuesday for the past few years. He knows all the nurses by name and is apparently really very warm and human and kind. Seems legit.

Seriously. Quality of life for us is about more than just affordability. We’re lucky enough to make it work out here. Sure we’d have a lot more disposable income elsewhere but when we talked about what we’d do with it we came to the same conclusion: Visit the west coast a lot.

This is great list. Once you’ve worked for it you realize what that hour of work equals in terms of money and material items. I have so many adult friends who still have trouble making informed decisions about spending.

Too far inland is a matter of taste not geography. A 2 hour drive to the beach is fine for some. Others prefer being able to see the water out their home/work window or during a morning stroll.
