So if it’s a display issue, then why not leave the numbers alone and just change how they’re displayed? Like say divide the displayed number by 10 or 100 and round off so that the displayed number appears smaller (though the actual number itself remains unchanged)?

Hey, thanks for the read and the thoughtful comment! I didn’t mean to imply that gaming is “never” the problem. Sure, the great majority of my sources said it wasn’t theirs. However, I spoke with a few who were never diagnosed with other mental health conditions/had relatively stable lives, but got hooked on loot…

I still don’t know why some gamers are so hesitant to admit that this is an actual issue. I know quite a few. I am sure a majority of us know somebody with a form of digital addiction and gaming addiction is a subset of that. I had a former friend who feel into alcoholism due to gaming and its a path I’ve seen people…
