Those wood-panel borders are so beautiful. 1987 Topps was the best.

With all the caveats about blind squirrels and broken clocks, Trump is right about one fucking thing: Comey is a total fucking blowhard and attention bound. I’m sure he’s honest, but goddamn he loves attention, and he may have integrity, but what he loves the most is to make a huge fucking show about how much…
You say that like the goal was something other than making James Comey richer and more popular.
Jesus, her friends travel a LOT.
Are your personal habits clean enough to support this level of sanctimony?
In my experience, it’s been fine when I sometimes forget to tidy up. I see it as partly about practicality, and partly about respect. A few magazines and Amazon boxes scattered around aren’t really a problem. If you get time to throw them all in one pile, great; if not, it’s fine, you’ll do better next time.
After a party, I definitely shot an advance apology text and left an extra $20 on top of my regular rate. (Note: I live in a small apartment, not a house.)
The next thing I saw him in after Princess Bride was in Glory. He was the “other” white guy next to Broderick. It just really looks like he guessed wrong on a lot of roles.
He may have gotten market-corrected a little bit too. He is basically the same age as Depp, Pitt and Cruise and they collectively crowded him out.
William Goldman has a chapter about the making of Princess Bride in one of his books. He says that Andre was the most beloved person he saw on the set of any movie for his entire screenwriting career.
“It says something about how beloved Roussimoff was that three of his major Princess Bride castmates (Cary Elwes, Robin Wright, and Billy Crystal) plus director Rob Reiner agreed to be interviewed for this film”
I know generational condemnation is reactionary and all that but boomers really are just the absolute worst generation of humans in modern history. Their awfulness is multi faceted.
Mask of the Phantasm is still the best Batman movie ever made, IMO.
The fact that “Aggressively using pitching changes and defensive alignments IS modern baseball” does not therefore mean that ALL aggressive pitching changes and defensive alignments are automatically correct or even remotely good ideas.
It was the Os Johnny had trouble with. He had no trouble with the Xs.
M’s fan, can confirm. Ichiro’s BP was why you came out early.
I remember hearing that Ichiro used to hit bombs in BP and was more of a line drive hitter in game on purpose. Ohtani’s swing seems like if Ichiro said fuck it, chicks dig the long ball.
You forgot the ending, which features grown-up Smalls as the worst baseball broadcaster of all time. Like Benny told the Dodgers that he’d only resign in free agency if they gave Smalls the radio play-by-play job, screw that Scully guy.
Major League is the greatest baseball movie ever made and I will physically fight anyone who says otherwise.

This does a wonderful job of proving how hard it is to be as smart and funny as Rick and Morty, because it is neither of those things.
