The TSA doesn’t seem to be understaffed. Their problem is that many of their agents shit their pants and abandon their duties the second they perceive a real emergency. I think that we should take a step back and admit the TSA is a failure. We should not be spending $5.5 billion and costing travelers delays and stress on security that mostly doesn’t work.
