You're cracking me up.

Haha! It was!

I spent many hours in high school getting stoned and watching this with my Gay Male Best Friend and giggling uncontrollably over mounds of Taco Bell.

You are so on point with this. I had an extremely sex positive mother, total hippy generation, kind of self-proclaimed unapologetic slut before she met my father, an OB/GYN NP - the whole works. Yet, I never wanted to come to her with anything sexual.

Haha! He may as well have been. My internal monologue was something along the lines of "what have you done?!?!" I gave him a fake cell number, but didn't count on him leaving roses at my apartment door for two weeks after. Poor hockey jersey puppy, he's probably an MRA now.

I once woke up with a dude who wore a hockey jersey. I'm not sure which one is worse. /s

I love this!

You are not alone. I have had quite a few partners, honestly more than I can count and I've never been interested in keeping count. I have absolutely no regrets.

I saw it too, and it's just sort of sat with me since reading it. It's a mash-up of some the worst things a person could do. People who hurt animals and children are the scum of the earth.

No, thank you! I already hate most of humanity. I suspect that level of bullshit would turn me against it once and for all.

The horror!!!

I heard something very similar from my MRI tech a few weeks ago. Her doc had told her to go off birth control because she was entering menopause, when lo and behold! she found herself pregnant at 54. That is about the scariest thing I can imagine - an unplanned child at that age. She said that her other two kids

As do I, friend. As do I.

He'd prefer not to.

Thank goodness I'm not alone.

It has nothing to do with acknowledging a parent's sexuality. Nothing. But do, please, continue harping on this.

I'm not saying that at all. I'm saying that the psychological effect of a child watching a parent's fake overdose is likely on par with a child watching a parent's intentionally leaked sex tape. It has nothing to do with the fact that said parent has had sex - as that is likely a given - and everything to do with

See above. I just don't believe anything this family puts out for public consumption.

Truth. But I was speaking under the assumption that everything this family does is convoluted bullshit since that seems to be their M.O. In that case, a dramatized overdose doesn't necessarily seem more damaging to a child than watching mommy get sexy?

I agree that it will have real-life implications, but is Daddy OD-ing really any worse than Mommy's sex tape (in North's case, anyway)? I have never watched the show, but this family seems to stop at nothing for publicity.
