Haha I noticed that Don Jr hunting photo. Nice little subtle joke.

- I must be old, because I thought “Dylan O’Brien” was a character, not an actor playing himself.
- Don, Jr. has a hunting photo of himself like that other Don Jr. It was prominent in the background of shots in his office.
- One of the Netflix people is in a wheelchair. How has Larry not mentioned it yet?
For once, a child actor is actually really good! I mean sure, it’s not a nuanced role or anything, but he’s really fluent and natural in a way that a lot of child actors aren’t.
This show is so fucking great. These kids are all likeable in their roles and having both Luke Wilson and Amy Smart as the parents who are both always very likeable as well is such good casting.
I have a strong feeling that Pat used the implied hint of violence with Matt rather than actually doing anything serious. Matt was already freaking out when Pat reached for the wand to close the blinds, I doubt he needed more convincing after his teenage nephew beat the crap out of him. Hell all Pat had to do was…
I love the fact that Sportsmaster considers Pat a friend so I have no doubt he and Tigress won’t hesitate to help out.
- Max having a run at the house while the “Too Sexy” song playing in the background was one of the funniest scenes in the entire Arrowverse.
On the other hand, six seasons into Supergirl, does anyone really watch this show for plot anymore?
I am guessing that Cindy called Artemis & told her she needs to come & bring her parents, who must have broken out of jail again (thankfully!)
Well Cindy was as much of a disturbing agent of chaos on the team as I hoped & expected. I love how she calls Cindy “new girl.” It reminds me of Slade Wilson calling Oliver “kid” and I hope for their thing to move in the same direction.
Indeed. The little wink she gives Larry is golden.
Oh my god that audition scene was amazing. Kudos to that actress for managing to play it in a way that was not just a “bad” audition, but hilariously creepy and off-putting.
I’d probably go B+, if only for the Marsha Lifshitz audition scene. There were so many opportunities for low hanging fruit, and they deftly avoided everyone; and instead went for a slightly sexualized pronunciation of “bubbe”. I don’t know the name of the actress off hand, but for my money, she nailed the audition.
Buncha savages in this town!
She assures you that “We’re Open.”
I’m so, so happy Cindy is back, she’s amazing! And what a turn of events, from her seeking out to form her own ISA at the beginning of the season to becoming a belligerent ally to JSA.
Stargirl goes black and white for a wacky day at a New Jersey convenience store. She’s not even supposed to be here today!
I think Swift watching “The Picture of Dorian Grey” is our clue about the second Shade. In the story, one Grey ages and decays while the other prospers. I think the Shade we saw evaporate was the decaying model while the real one is recovering somewhere unexpected and will show up in the nick of time.
I fully expected one of either MacNider or Cindy to wind up still trapped at the end of the episode, so kudos show for not doing that. I also think I like that it didn’t wind up with Courtney pulling Cindy out of the Shadowlands.
