I thought the things in the tanks were cloned experimental Kaminoeans. The one that fell on Fennic looked really tall.

Life uh finds a way 🤷

I just hope now we can be rid of the constant Trump influence over the show’s narrative. There’s always been way too much 45 involved in the plot of this show.

I am so glad this show is back.
I am gonna miss Luca though..

Well, we did have Lois and Clark in the 90's which did that but I bet a reboot with Hoechlin and Tulloch playing their younger selves in that time would be a hoot. We just need to figure out who would portray Lex. Jon Cryer may still be an option there.

Superman & Lois fucking up Nazis together is #CoupleGoals.

I think only the Canadian broadcasts got the shaft. Here’s the same shot in the US version I saw:

Yes! This popped up on the CTV broadcast in Canada, was wondering if the CW version had it too or they fixed it for the American showing. It’s such a sloppy goof, especially getting sent to international broadcasters who also let it pass quality control, that I have to wonder if the production ran out of time or…

All the flashback stuff was so, so, so good, spent most of it humming the John Williams Superman march. The stuff with Edge was more of a bummer, but that’s sort of a given since it’s meant to be a season nadir. It also clarified the new timeline a little better, with Clark being a part of the class of 95 (hey, that…

Damn this commenting system, lets try this again shall we?

He has the coolest Star Wars name ever. Much cooler than Elan Sleazebaggano.

With good reason, that’s a killer song.

Bonnie Tyler's agents are really raking in the bucks this week...

I caught the Ripley and Aliens vibe. Usualy they are more obvious with their sci-fi genre homages. I can’t find an image of that shot from The Mandalorian of Beihn doing a classic Hicks pose with the M-41a pulse rifle. “Feel the weight.”

Seconded. As soon as I heard the music over the Marvel Studios logo, I was like “Well, at least the music is gonna slap, I am IN so far”.

Hiddleston’s reaction to that drawer was pretty top-notch.

Can we just give another shout out to Natalie Holt and her amazing score for this. We get spooky theremin sci-fi music mixed with more mournful tones, and it just works so well.

Now playing

I wouldn’t have thought of Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson as a natural comedic duo

It’s an idea foreshadowed by an early scene where a 16th-century French boy tells Mobius that the killer was a horned devil who gave out gifts, which in retrospect totally sounds like Loki.

Yep a great solid start. Loved the random drawer filled with Infinity Stones - makes total sense for the TVA and was a great way to hit Loki with ‘wait, yeah, maybe these people are as big a deal as they say’.
