It’s not truly the Best of “Smallville” unless a pickup truck explodes.
Was that a checkmate emblem on Jordan’s attacker ?
Though I felt like the scene between drunk Jonathan and sober Jordan resolved itself a little too quickly, the rest of the episode continued to weave and intertwine its character arcs. So far we have nearly five hours worth of solid, legit additions to the Superman mythos.
You’re not the only one. :)
Guess I’m the only one here who doesn’t know wtf is going on half the time. I do like the cast and the visuals, though. That keeps me engaged.
Wow I was cynical as hell when this season started. But goddamn did it somehow win me over. I'm stunned but glad.
I know I’m in the minority, but I really don’t like Audrey. The only way she can redeem herself with me is by stabbing Wilford in the back. And maybe the front too.
I would normally agree with you about being bugged by people blowing past the atrocities, but given my experience in my home country, I can (and have) seen this happen.
I’ve seen good and decent people, friends and family, and an entire city that I grew up in shrug off extrajudicial killings that everyone knew was…
The upside is that regular TvTropes editors like myself can easily go in there and scrub that right off!
in the future i would highly recommend watching the show first!
They did; when Mr. White took Mr. Garrison down to his basement and they both grabbed guns, the Jewish Space Lasers (tm) shot the guns out of their hands.
I loved The Lost Room. Really thought it was something special, and was sad it didn’t spawn any new seasons, but it also worked as a standalone.
I saw that one - it was surprisingly good and definitely could use with a reboot/expansion of the idea.
Seems reminiscent of the 2006 SyFy miniseries/failed pilot The Lost Room - all the objects within a seemingly ordinary motel room at a specific point in the 60s become strangely powerful in unique ways leading to various collectors and interested parties scouring the earth looking for them.
Was there really a plot driver, though? “Turns out Tyr’s the bad guy!”? Exciting! I guess? Meanwhile Laura’s still trying to kill Wednesday and Bilquis is looking for...something?
I thought the two goons were actually the current representation of Media.
The audience was out of hand.
What does God need with a train?
Oh Jesus Fucking Christ. I was going to write something snarky, but it feels like this comment is so over the top that it is a satire of itself. And I don’t even mean that as a joke.
