I liked this episode. And this is the most I’ve enjoyed this show since the first few seasons. So there.

How do you figure this? Part of what I enjoyed most about witcher 3 was observing Geralt and the other witcher’s mannerisms and how it correlated to their decision making. Geralt is misunderstood, not insipid.

I honestly don’t really consider Geralt all that much of an anti-hero, any more than someone like Harry Dresden is.

One of the best pieces I’ve read about the games opens up with “When you first see Geralt, he looks like a parody of a 90s videogame protagonist...but then you get to know him.”

Exactly.  They are, quite intentionally, “unrealistically beautiful.”

And to further nerd it up, the short stories explain that mages actively alter their physicality to appear attractive to add to their mystique

Since nobody else seems to feel this way, I’ll say it- I do miss Gina. Obviously Chelsea Perretti has other things to deal with but I hope she’s back at midseason.

Lucifer and Maze’s discussion of what she really wanted led me to think that Maze was going to confess her own romantic love for Linda

I’m hoping that now that we’re almost done with the season 2 holdovers (Still one left to go) that things should be a bit more straightforward now.

Winn discussing Star Wars movies with the Martians was delightful.

They’re a mixed bag, though I think “Lisa’s Wedding” is a classic.

At least we got Ana Gasteyer talking about jilling off to Toy Story.
