The fact that everyone below is jumping through hoops trying to defend this plot hole just shows how sloppy the writing can get on this show. If you have to make up entire scenes in your head in order to explain what just happened on screen, then the writers/editors have failed.

I actually liked this one slightly more than the pilot *because* it was a little slower and more coherent. I like the Crank style well enough, but I love watching Meloni in these longer slices more.

Yeah, I couldn’t figure out why Caroline thought that was laugh-worthy. It’s absolutely a thing, and if you’re walking around a major city, you bet you can be id’d at any time.

The height disparity between Helfer and Garcia reminds me of the one between Janney and Chenoweth on The West Wing back in the day!

They hadn’t until JJ (and Brannon/Braga) got their hands on it. There was a bible of things that could and could not happen. These new people just crapped all over it in the service of cheesy story beats.

Did you ever try Heroes: Reborn? Because that’s the only show I watched all the way through that was worse than this mess! (Maybe!)

Agreed, and I kept thinking that all episode. “Holy moly, could Ted Danson *be* any more legendary?” And the answer is, Yes! I mean, I love all the cast, but Ted has such a history of greatness, how does he top it? And then he does!
