I was working on a greasemonkey script to automatically change newswire links to the permalink version, but then the AV Club broke Firefox, and I got pissed off, so I stopped (for now…)
It's possible I missed the distinction about establishing shots! ;)
Yeah I noticed the vines on the MRI too. Could just be some funky side effect of all the David-powers going off nearby.
Every week I think this show can't keep amazing me, and every week I'm proven wrong!
Speaking of Wynonna Earp (which is awesome), any word on when season 2 is going to start? Should be soon? I know we're getting 12 eps this year, as opposed to 13 last year, so not a big change.
I didn't enjoy this ep at all. Everything seemed manufactured and predictable. People (as usual) were acting like morons. The only good thing was the "twist" at the end, but even that you could see coming a half hour away. Well, plus Murphy, because he's always awesome.
Yeah, Disqus probably works fine with a global account, but anything relying on the local AVC login + firefox seems to be a no go at the moment.
Yeah, I was seeing script errors in their player too. I normally have an addon that all but disables them so I didn't notice until I started trying to debug the login issue, but the sheer number of errors on any given AVC page now makes it tough!
A.V. Club / Disqus Woes - Part XCVII
According to the Slate The Americans podcast, they are filmed in Russia. Think they talked about it in episode 2.
You guessed it, Beast Aliens.
That really may be my favourite scene in the entire fantastic movie, just for the genuine aspect of it. You can really tell.
Maybe he can be in a new Ghostbusters movie?
You're cut too, shushy!
It's what I was told people are saying!
So much. I was really hoping for that to happen, even if it meant they didn't fight at all. Probably too much to expect from a kids show, though.
Hey, if you wanna get super nerdy, that "Qui Gon stance" is basically Soresu form from SWTOR, hehe…
Well, I quite liked this one. Nothing too fancy, but quiet and to the point. I agree with most of Kevin's criticisms, except that I loved the coda showing Kenobi keeping an eye on lil Luke… not to mention that music, which never fails to bring a tear to the eye.
