So many of us has to make changes to what we thought birth would be and then this? The fact that this baby was born only a minute later...in exactly the same position...I cannot fathom any medically necessary reason this woman couldn’t have her birth to plan. She was supposed to be a lucky one, you know?

And Elina was a very gracious winner. Also to be noted-before the match, Serena told Elina that she really admired her skills, which seemed to have made Elina’s year.

They've been exchanging phone calls and cards for years. Clearly they're all into it. That was my point with this particular situation. They opted to make it long-term.

It’s not mentioned in this article but the organ donation was arranged by an organization that offers the option of donor and donee families meeting. They had a relationship (though, not in person) before this day, of their own volition. There was no awkward “reaching out.”

I don’t know if we can say it isn’t doing them any good. Perhaps they find purpose and therapy in their actions. Their story is heartbreaking but for me, it’s also achingly beautiful. When I think of my own daughter...

If that’s true, where’s my fuckin’ check?

It's still a garbage song.

Best. Episode. Ever.

Just a note-Hadiya Pendleton was not killed by a police officer.

Yeah, I can barely read the lyrics without choking up. It makes me far too sentimental. It’s like what someone puts on the ol’ turntable after their best friend’s funeral.

Yeah, I’m sure she’s crying into her million dollars per (admittedly awful) episode over losing that one mouth breather fan.

I could only skim after immediately being turned off by the paint all mothers with the same brush attitude of “my kid has been alive for a year and a half so I proclaim baby monitors are unnecessary” BS. But what I gather is that you got a bit ol’ YOU problem, not a baby monitor problem. If you’re going to obsess,

I don’t go bare but I do tidy up. And I’m one who would tidy up before I saw my obgyn. I won’t apologize for that. No, she didn’t care. Not a single bit. However, when you’re pregnant, you have A LOT of discharge. It is unpleasant. For some women, it is also smelly. And it does get around the nethers. At that point,

60% of how many people? Yes, that figure is certainly alarming (though we don’t know the health of these individuals otherwise) but I would really like to know the number of identified infections. Did I miss it in this article or the linked one?

I don't know...maybe they dodged a bullet...

You've made your point. We don't agree.

Like I said, you’re entitled to believe what you think he meant. I will continue to take what he said at face value. Whatever he said, whatever he meant, I'm inclined to believe he used her name for more than one reason.

We know Adele has a great voice but it’s even questionable if that is actually her voice or how much has been manipulated.

You just don’t like her music and that’s fine. You're not alone. Just read through any article about her and you'll find a lot of comments that read just like yours. Some people enjoy the emotionally raw sound that you don’t seem to like.

I understand all that but there are still plenty of examples of her live without it being a concert or a television appearance with all sorts of technical shenanigans. This man is speaking as if her sound is the result of straight up manipulation.
