The bear population in NJ has rebounded so much that we allow a small hunt each year. I was running a summer race in ski country and had a run in with a black bear. Reminded of the old saying black fight back, brown stay down.

Oddly, Mercedes still makes OEM parts for 20, 30, and 40 year old models. It is how they are able to do full factory restorations. Came here to howl about that throwaway comment. Why would anyone compare an old Pantera to a modern Corvette? Compare it to a mid engine Italian car of the 70s maybe? Bit a C8? Don’t get me wrong the C8 is an amazing car (don’t even need to add on “for the money” anymore) but it’s freaking ugly as sin. 

This could be remedied by standard parking rules. Many places have rules that say a car needs to be moved once per week, or whatever timeframe you like, or it could be considered abandoned. Stunned to see a car like this having depreciated this far (you would think these things would bottom out at maybe $60k or something but apparently not).  With a clean PPI it’s a NP all day to me at least. I freaking love Astons. 

Pretty sure the 911 is the only 7 speed manual out there. It was developed from the 7 speed PDK. My 6 speed GT4 could absolutely use that 7th gear or at least a higher 6th (not like I ever see 6th on a track) for cruising. 

For that VA centered one, I was parked in my car in NJ at a spot that can be windy next to a high rise so I thought it was just a gust of wind.
