True but that’s $180k of car sitting there possibly with a loan on it. If it was a used one, then I would say it’s the owner of the dealership driving it every now and then for fun while having it sit on sale. Bit for a new car to sit is a terrible financial decision for a dealer.

Which is where some specialty websites come in handy. When I was shopping for a 981 Cayman years ago, then again for the GT4 two years ago, I extensively used a Porsche website called VINAnalytics that would show you the original build sheet and price after entering the VIN.  

For this price you can actually get into a new Cayenne S with a V8. If I’m going to get 15mpg I would rather have a V8 and more space of the Cayenne.

This won’t work because the the most frequent travelers and the loyal customers expect to have overhead space when they board. If you went back to front there would be no space by the time the preferred customers get on board.
