This site is terrible enough on mobile devices that it usually reloads at least twice to get through an article. So let’s go and make them slides!

Not with a CVT is ain’t.

Because it’s a $1299 option to have the twilight fully light up?

Had a close call with rental car company yesterday. The only car showing left at Buffalo airport with my preferred agency was the Spark. Thank god for loyalty programs so I got pushed into a Kia Optima.

I was thinking the exact same thing- Palm Springs in the spring and fall, and Bend OR in the winter and summer. There’s Thermal race club in Palm Springs but the closest track to Bend is a couple hours. I have thought about post-retirement or second career as developer and building a track. Location location location-

Just east of Craters of the Moon in Idaho. Technically these old volcanoes aren’t the middle of nowhere since the Idaho National Laboratory are in the area (as is Atomic City- population 27). But I know that cool middle of nowhere feeling.

Correct take. This refresh wasn’t the issue. It was the European pedestrian front end crash standards that killed the look the SL. That front grill got more and more vertical with every refresh and full redesign when it should be that sweet laid back look (and a Mercedes star that is “only” about 4 inches across and

Can we ask someone to go through here amd comment “IT’S A REDESIGN NOT A REFRESH!!!” on all of the offending comments? I’m too lazy.

I can’t say I know this market either (all 400 whatever cars sold here per the article), but with that mileage, full service records, and a full PPI done by an Italian indy who knows these cars, I would say NP. I couldn’t help but think someone should email a picture of this to BMW, Toyota/Lexus, and a half dozen

Seems like heresy to pick V8 over inline 6 but yeah, E92.

M3 sedan with manual transmission.

I will save judgment one way or another not knowing why they had a suspended license. In some places, a couple unpaid parking tickets can turn into huge fines and even suspended licenses- which is very dumb to take away someone’s ability to get to work to get them to pay a fine.

Yes you are right that a Manhattan dealer might as well try to price it high hoping for a non-discerning buyer.

You can’t price too far from the mean if you are selling Porsches. It’s not like a buyer has a huge selection of used Camry’s within 50 miles of their home. If you are particular about your Porsche, you are shopping nation wide and then paying to ship the car. I found my perfect Porsche in IL and spent only about

This is why I used VinAnalytics to check every single listing when I was shopping for my used Cayman. The site is incredibly helpful. It’s not just the manual/“automatic that you can shift yourself” issue.any Porsche shoppers want very specifics options that you can’t just see with you eyes- Porchse Torque Vectoring,

It was a luxury car at the time. Times change. Again, it’s 17 years old. It had two mechanical issues in 17 years. If you think a car having two issues in 17 is by definition unreliable you have no idea what you are talking about.

DMVs here in NJ are a mess any time, and even worse since the pandemic. I have a passport, TSA Precheck, and Clear for my travels so I am in no rush to go sit in any lines for 7 hours like people have been doing here.

I would ask about the timing belt but this is a sub $10K luxury car that is 17 years old. If you are so concerned about a $200 door actuator replacement as part of 17 years of being on the road, you probably should just go buy a new Toyota Corolla.

I was thinking $7500 but reluctantly gave it the NP even when I saw $9K. This era Lexus IS is very reliable from a quick google search, mechanically simple, and classically styled. Despite the black out this appears to have been well cared for. To me priced a little high but the seller should get close to asking.

Euro spec M3 at peak BMW time, in limited special order color? This seller would get well into 6 figures if he put this on BaT.
