Saloon resembles the Aston Martin Bulldog which is a good thing

Now where exactly have I seen a wide-mouth grille with a loop around it?

I’m tired of this yoke culture.

Now playing

China is locally selling homemade $8K EVs with decent range.

And a bad yoke at that :)

It reminds me of the Canoo mini-van, but less charming.

Are they physically required, or can automakers resort to cameras for this function?

Awesome. Finally, something new to pine for after the VW iBuzz Microbus fell flat. Bring it Honda!

But I guess the CyberTruck does show how badly things can go if you try and put a wildly impractical concept vehicle into production.

I don’t care if it’s a ‘concept’ vehicle or not. Steering wheels should be an actual, round wheel. I’m having none of whatever the fuck this thing is:

The Wraith would like to talk to Honda

It’s the same old concepts companies have been doing. Some van thing with all white interior and some couches in the middle. Or a Sedan with a cave entrance interior. Both of which incorporate a Bubble Buddy design with a Podracer steering wheel. boooring

I agree, but somehow all of these are less ridiculous than the cybertruck. i have the weirdest semi right now.

Agreed - if they were serious, they’d show stuff that’s close to ready for production, with an actual, fully engineered platform under it. This is just a bunch of posturing.

You’re kidding, right? These look like concepts other automakers showed back when EVs were not a thing.  This shows nothing of them being remotely serious. They are if anything very far behind.

Why reward the Chinese for actually developing EV tech when you an reward the stock holders and still not develop any decent EV tech lol.

Bezos can fuck all the way off.  Get out of my car, you walking, talking dickhead.

GM, much like the other 1(2) American automakers and other companies in general can only blame themselves. Complacency, laziness, and short term thinking screws over too many American companies. It seems like they can only think 3 months ahead due to Wall Street and earnings announcements. The Chinese are running away

Neutral: Here in Chicago, we’re currently in the middle of an alotted 24 hours of precipitation that was supposed to be like 75% snow, and 25% rain. It’s been reversed since last night. Huge buzzkill.

Yeah, don’t care about whether it had the right tires, or if a competitor would’ve made it up that slope... it’s just so ugly.
