The whole line of questioning is dumb. Literally every single senator, including progressive ones, would respond that way to such an inquiry.

Mr. Christmas apparently went to Yale Law, so it’s not the craziest assumption in the world that he probably falls into a higher income bracket.

That’s okay sometimes, but a lot of people in the U.S. just prefer their beer cold.

We’re not talking about losing it here. We’re talking about growing it at the insane rate the Kardashians have over the last decade or so.

This is such a ... dumb and juvenile analysis. Rich people do not want a Putin model, because under the Putin model, Vladimir Putin is the person who decides who is rich, and if he decides it’s not you, even if you were rich, then you are totally fucking boned.

I mean, I get what you’re trying to do here, but Democrats absolutely had the power to replenish the committee system at a few points after 94 and have chosen not to because they prefer the advantages it offers.

‘The richest of the rich are not necessarily all that well diversified.’

I don’t think it’s terribly smart either.

That helps, no doubt, and I’m typically a sucker for seeing characters I love go on to have further adventures, but I dunno man.

My own thoughts about this ...

The richest of the rich, who are the owners of government, do not care about market dislocations and inefficiencies because they’re so well diversified that they’re always making money no matter what.

I feel like he should have beat out Patinkin or even Dinklage.

Rhys for sure seems like a lock in that field, not just because it was The Americans final season, but because in a great final season his performance was peerless, and that’s no knock on Russell either.

Ban House Committees.

Seems to me like the poor Republicans are already doing that.

Sketches of our political system that reduce it to being all about the money are just so ... 2016-when-everyone-thought-Hillary-would-be-elected.

The interspersed factions in New Vegas do make it easier to lure people into killing each other. I’ve been working on a run between doses of Fallout 4.

It was ... tangentially related to the topic at hand. They were talking to their PR firm which was discussing racial sensitivity in communications and he said those things in an effort to say he didn’t really say anything that bad.

Hahahaha!
