Originalism is a lot of bad and dumb things, but it’s not “originalism” in reference to the “original” Constitution it’s “originalism” in reference to the original intent of the writers of any given article or amendment of the constitution.

It’s not clear if Sasse is setting up for a primary run or in an independent bid. A President can be challenged in the primary of his own party. It just doesn’t happen all that often.
