A cheaper alternative — at least for data charges — is Karma (yourkarma.com). They have periodic “double data” sales of data that never expires and you can buy 20 gb for $100. That works out to $5/gb. You do have to kick in $150 for their WiFi hotspot gadget or $100 if you are willing to wait for one of their sales.…
