You can police every aspect of your speech, you can wear the right things, you can get all the degrees and expertise, you can write the most fucking eloquent and heartbreaking courtroom statement and still there are men who will not hear you because they just don’t listen to women.

There’s been a shield logo for quite a while now. Some might call it “original”

Dude. Clean your ass, man.

I was confused, too. Like, is she wearing clothes out to purposely make herself look bigger? Has she been dieting and working out more than usual? Cause that ain’t no plus size.

As someone who has actually done real work lobbying for gun control, I hope that Amy’s selfie is mocking this #WearOrange “slacktivist” nonsense. Wearing orange is bullshit; if you really want change, write your Congressman and Senators and then vote for candidates in November who support gun control measures.

for more attention. I mean more awareness.

violence awareness?? yes Amy we are aware. How about violence prevention??

Seriously, why’d she post that.

I know, right? As a gay man, I cannot forget her stance on LGBT rights. When it wasn’t in her favor to support same-sex marriage, she was against it, yet now claims to be the ardent defender of LGBT people.

It sort of blows my mind when people say she’s genuinely cares, I’m like this is a woman who literally told Africans to ‘get over’ colonialism. And you think she gives a fuck about you?

Oh so we’re just forgetting everything hillary did in Honduras and Haiti, and that speech she made to AIPAC? Thats cool.

People do understand that. The issue is that it seems like a near impossible reality to separate legal sex work from all the seedy crime that follows it.

This is a very complicated issue that won’t be fixed just by legalizing it. I actually agree with him that legal prostitution commodifies women’s bodies (and to a smaller extent, men’s bodies) and that’s not ok with this feminist.

As a former sex worker, I don’t understand what is so hard for people to understand. We want our work to be legal, but pimping and human trafficking to be illegal.

I feel as though he’s coming from the right place. And unfortunately sex work is not something that has one easy answer. I fully support anyone who would CHOOSE this profession but the issue is that it is hard to separate those who didn’t from those who do. And keep people safe from being trafficked against their

Yeah. At least he actually seems to care about the well-being of sex workers, which is a hell of a lot more than you’d get from any Republican.

I don’t think we should insult people for carefully thought out opinion pieces that slightly differ from our own opinions. This is a complex issue.

To be fair, there are a lot of feminists (especially from the previous wave) that would agree with him. So, calling what he is saying ‘awful’ probably isn’t fair. I don’t agree with what he’s saying, but that doesn’t make it awful. Awful is what Republicans do when they open their pieholes and pontificate about sex

Is it your dream to produce a technology that puts people’s lives at risk? If so you are a piece of shit.

You’re a goddamn genius
