Like, people taking the side of one of the most corrupt police dept in the country- even while the superintendent tried his hand at being a daytime personality, trying to steal Al Roker’s job.

All I’m going to say is from the jump, I was side eyeing the people who were taking the word of the Chicago PD, of all the fucking PD’s.
And CPD leaked every piece of bullshit speculation they had in a deliberate attempt to ruin his career and cast doubt on him even if no indictments came out of it. Multiple people in CPD show go down for this bullshit but I expect they’re circling the wagons already.
I’ve always felt like a piece was missing in this case. The “he did it for a higher salary” thing the cops threw out there is nonsensical and no one has ever been able to explain to me (a former actor) just how they think that is supposed to work. I don’t know what happened, but there is some aspect of the story that…
Chicago PD’s evidence must have been nothing. The FBI already came out and said the CPD was exaggerating about the letter. The rest of the evidence must have been flimsy at best.
Jamie Lee Curtis approves this message.
Ok, I’m old. These ultra high cuts were called French cut in the 80s. (I don’t know! I was just there.) I remember very vividly being a tween on the beach with a bunch of older women attempting the same body suit.
Every set of eyes was on the beach like... “Wait, hold on, any second now... that cat is about to jump…
The wonders of living in a country where, even to this day, the parish is still the basic civil administrative unit and having been invaded by the Normans.
He just went old school and bought a building. Now, I don’t care who you are, if you give a school $70M, then everyone in your family should get in. As long as they have the grades and test scores.
If I ever have kids, I’m naming them Absolute Genius and Cool Dadio.
“The women in Jeff Tremaine’s movie adaptation of Mötley Crüe’s memoir The Dirt are obstacles, morons, and objects. They are comprised of a revolving stable of interchangeable extras”
As a lady in the metal scene, I can say a lot of men still have this idea of women; that we’re there to be used.
So it’s faithful to the book?
Not only do I think that this was not at all what the developers and tenants had in mind when they designed the concept, I am (fairly) certain that there is a precise plan in effect to discourage non-affluent, non-whites from escaping the climate and stealing wi-fi.
There aren’t enough words in all the languages in the world combined to accurately express the disdain I feel for this monument of disregard for what this city ever represented or was celebrated for. NYC and all of the boroughs now shamelessly attempts to compete with Dubai as Asshole Capital of Planet Earth. Post…
Hell yeah, it worked! The people with expertise in medicine were the ones saying that her idea would never work while the rich old white dudes who liked looking at and talking to a pretty blonde with big blue doe eyes forked over millions of dollars for this miraculous innovation she came up with as a 19 year-old.…
I’ve gone through the Fyre docs, every Thernos doc, every Madoff and 2008 financial crisis doc and I need MORE!
OMG I ate this up last night! Now I’m just waiting for the Jennifer Lawrence movie. I also recommend The Dropout podcast on Holmes, which is incredibly thorough and engrossing (there’s also a 20/20 documentary based on The Dropout, which I’ll be watching as soon as I can.)
Carson doesn’t care about that stereotype.
This is why I generally hate call-out culture and viral culture. So many historically ignored offenses are getting addressed, but a lot of people way underestimate the pain and humiliation that international shaming creates.
