But the ones who suffer are the unvaccinated. And at this point, it’s their choice (for the most part/obv there are exceptions). So yes, it is the way. You may not like it but that’s the way we’re going. You can join us or stay in your house for the rest of your life.

The immunocompromised are always going to be at a disadvantage unfortunately. I did everything I could to make sure I didn’t spread Covid (although as far as I know, I never got it - never tested positive for it) but this is something we’re going to have to learn how to live with. I truly feel bad for those who are

This season is one of those things that I’ve been waiting for earnestly...and yet knowing that we’re gonna find out what happens and I’m not sure if I’m ready for that.

Gack.

I’m not a hypochondriac (I think??) but due to my genetic health history (cancer/heart disease/diabetes), I’ve just been proactive when it comes to health things. I’ve had two occasions where I had some symptoms of a heart attack so I went to the ER. Both times, I was rushed right in and made to go through a bunch of

You know why? Because although vaccinations have saved a lot of people from dying; being vaccinated doesn’t mean you can’t get Covid. You’re just not going to die from it. So a negative test result is fine. This is the way.

If you eat a Ford F-250 every day, I’m guessing you poop a Volkswagen Golf every 2 days.

Ugh. You were lucky! But you probably made your own luck by not ignoring it. My dad had just gotten out of the shower because we were about to leave on a vacation/road trip, told my mom he was feeling weird and she took one look at him and called 911. I don’t even want to think about what would’ve happened if we/he

I have no problem with leaving the Skywalker saga. I also have no problem with Disney exploring other side stories of the Skywalker saga. It can be two things and I’m guessing that it will be eventually. Did anyone really think that Disney +’s first Star Wars show wasn’t going to lean heavily into a story we already

But was it all bad comedy? I would contend that the fan service parts that missed, do not represent the whole. To me, there’s too much focus on the “fan service/how Han got his name” and not enough on the film, which was fun and very much in line (to me) as to how a younger Han Solo would’ve been. I also thought Alden

My dad had a massive heart attack many years ago but that’s how my mom (a nurse) knew he was in trouble, the blue-gray face. That’s nothing to mess around with; like he said, luckily he was around people.

Reclaiming the throne now that that bitch Betty White is gone amirite?

In comparison to other recent SW films...yes, I believe this was supposed to be more fun than the others. I just have a feeling that L&M went too far with it and that’s why they were given the boot. And there can be good fun and bad fun. I thought this was both good and fun. Your mileage may differ.

But again, it’s contextual. Rogue One wasn’t supposed to be a fun movie, in the way that Solo was. BTW...some of that fan service could’ve been left over from L&M. I like their sense of humor and most of it probably wasn’t but we’ll never know.

Because everyone lost their minds when Luke Skywalker showed up? And yes, some lost their minds because they thought it was stupid. But most thought it was really cool...minus the creepy CGI.

They didn’t know Luke was going to be in it but we had a baby Yoda from the get go, so we knew it tied into the universe we already knew.

Disney does like a profit x 1000, now don’t they??!

I’ll give you that. Again, it’s subjective but I can see how someone thought it was too on the nose/over the top/not necessary. But I liked it. I think it was supposed to be a “fun” SW movie from the get-go. I believe L&M saw “fun” and interpreted that as “funny” and that’s when Disney said, uh....no.

I said most fans. Not all fans. I believe you’re in the minority. Like I said, I’m sure Star Wars will get to stories that haven’t been told yet at some point, possibly sooner than later. But to be upset that Star Wars is still on Tattooine is wanting a duck to not be a duck.

Creatively stagnant is subjective. I thought the fan service was fine. It worked with the story. If it was too on the nose for some people, oh well. It worked for me.
