Non-standard memory cards is mainly a Vita problem. The GO came with 16GB of memory on-board which would let you haul around over a dozen games at once. It did only use the proprietary M.2 memory card format, but a 16GB card cost me $30 which was the exact same price as a 16GB Micro SD at the time.
