Potential Spoilers. I hate settlements (worst part about Fallout 4 IMHO), and sent Preston to the Castle and now he doesn’t bother me at my home base at Red Rocket with Buddy. Do I help defend settlements when I see they are under attack? No. All I do is run round the Commonwealth with my lover Piper.
